Monthly Residential Statistics – For the Month of January 2017  Barrie & District Association of REALTORS® “The real estate market is continually changing, and 2017 shows no signs of that stopping. A local,  professional REALTOR® is your best investment for managing your real estate needs.” ‐says the  2017 President, Barrie & District Association of REALTORS® Inc. (BDAR) City of Barrie ‐ Within the City of Barrie, detached residential properties posted an average selling price for  the month of January 2017 of $523,618 an increase of 32% over January 2016.  Residential townhouse, link, and semi‐detached homes in the City of Barrie posted an average selling price  of $397,411 in January 2017, a 38% increase over January 2016.  Condominium sales average for the City of Barrie for the month of January 2017 was $301,115, a 41%  increase compared to January 2016. Essa Township   In Essa Township, detached residential properties posted an average selling price of $491,540 in January  2017, an increase of 30% over January 2016. Town of Innisfil  Detached residential properties in the Town of Innisfil posted an average selling price of $519,013 in  January 2017, an increase of 29% over the month of January 2016. Oro‐Medonte Township  The average selling price for detached residential properties in Oro‐Medonte in January 2017 was $506,768  an increase of 12% over January 2016. Springwater Township  Detached residential homes in Springwater Township posted an average selling price in January 2017 of  $722,021 an increase of 82% over January 2016.
